Brian has been a lecturer on Australian history and professional Tour Guide since 1976 and still conducts tours at The Rocks.
As a Tour Guide he has conducted tours on historical sites around Sydney Harbour National Park and was in the first intake of Climb Leaders for BridgeClimb.
He gives regular lectures on various aspects of Australian history to specialised educational groups including Alumni tours of Australia. He also worked with the Smithsonian Institute for several years as a Study Leader on their two-week tours of Australia where he gave lectures at different points throughout the tour.
As well as conducting tours at The Rocks, Brian is currently a trainer and assessor of Tour Guides through TAFE New South Wales. Brian was conferred the Best Specialist Guide Award in 1997 by IATG.
