Operating for over 40 years on Sydney Harbour and Murray River, Captain Cook Cruises operate a wide range of sightseeing, dining and cocktail cruises and have the well-deserved reputation of being recognised as ‘the small ship cruise specialists’.

With 14 vessels operating on Sydney Harbour, Captain Cook also has the largest fleet of charter vessels and can cater for guest numbers ranging from 10 to 2200.  Dine aboard Sydney’s premier cruising restaurant MV Sydney 2000 – the ultimate in sophisticate cruising with capacity for up to 700 guests.

Captain Cook Cruises also operate the executive sailing catamarans Sydney Crystal and the newly renovated Matilda 3 and John Cadman 2 plus four new generation super rockets.

The Travel, Tourism & Events section of TAFE NSW Sydney Institute offers the widest range of tourism and events industry qualifications available in Australia.  The Institute offers training from entry / operational level courses through to Advanced Diploma programs.  Our courses are delivered by highly qualified and experienced teachers.  They differ from those offered by Universities by being more practical and based on the direct skills required by industry.
Our trainers have specialised skills in vocational education combined with industry experience.  The content of the training programs is contextualised for the relevant industry sector.  Training is aligned to national standards and professionally delivered. We are a Registered Training Organisation delivering nationally certified courses as well as skills gap training.

While our location is centrally located at Railway Square Ultimo in Sydney we are able to conduct training and assessment at the client’s workplace at convenient times.  We also offer Diploma and Advanced Diploma courses online for individuals who prefer to study from the convenience of home or their workplace.
