Judith Dunn OAM
Inaugural IATG Tour Guide of the Year
Member of IATG for over 25 years, Judith is a cultural historian and the passionate force behind Past Times Tours, a business dedicated to sharing Australia’s rich history and cultural heritage.
Judith was awarded the Medal of the Order of Australia for her outstanding contribution to history and heritage, and she holds a Fellowship with the Parramatta and District Historical Society for her extensive research and writing on Parramatta’s past.
For 35 years, she has convened the Historic Graves Committee, publishing seven books—five in The Parramatta Cemetery Series—that preserve stories of early Australia. Judith’s publications include Then and There Lying Dead, Colonial Ladies: Lovely, Lively, and Lamentably Loose at Female Factory and Sites and Crimes on Sydney’s Waterfront, showcasing her unique ability to bring the past to life through engaging storytelling.
